We recommend that you review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies, as well as the Author Guidelines. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.

Instructions for Authors
The paper must be an original unpublished work written in good English. It may not be refereed in another journal at the same time or submitted to another journal without the consent of this journal. The author(s) must agree that the published version of the paper may be placed on the website of the journal (in pdf format). Each submission is briefly assessed by one of the journal editors, who checks whether the submission satisfies the journal requirements. If it does, they send the manuscript to two referees. The journal uses anonymous double-blind referee process.
Each paper must be submitted by submission system. Submission is completed upon the receipt of a confirmation e-mail.
There are no submission, processing, or publication fees.
Manuscript formatting requirements
We invite all researchers and academicians to cooperate with our journal and submit their original unpublished manuscripts.
- The language quality standards: in Journal of Management and Business: Research and Practice only articles in English language are published. To ensure the quality of the language, the final version of the manuscript is proofread by an international US-based service provider.
- Only the original unpublished works published for the first time appear in our journal. The similarity index for every article is verified with application of Similarity Check to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism.
- The article (Introduction, Theoretical background, Methodology, Results, Discussions, Conclusions) must have the maximum length approximately 8000 of words.
- Title references to any material that has been provided by previous authors, or been published in another source should be set according to APA styles. The article must fulfil all the formatting and editorial criteria that are available in the formatting template at website of the journal in download section. The articles should be prepared in the formatting template.
- The original works should be submitted with an abstract featuring the following recommended structure: Background, Aims, Design and Measurements (Methods), Sample (Participants), Results, Conclusions, Implications. Summaries of articles to be published in the other sections are not structured.There shall be an English abstract ranging between 150 – 200 words which is compatible with the subject and aim of the journal. Please, focus mainly on the explanation of the aim of the contribution, methodology and main findings. However, it does not need to be written in distinct sections of header, it is recommended to write the abstract as a single block-style paragraph. The requirements are available in the formatting template .
- The suggested scheme of article: body of the paper consisting of part corresponding with steps of realization of aims of the paper should be divided into following sections: Introduction / Theoretical background / Methodology / Results / Discussions / Conclusions. - The condition for forwarding the text for the reviewing process is an absolute compliance with the editorial requirements.
- Manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Submission is completed upon the receipt of a confirmation e-mail.
The Editorial Board and Publisher of the journal have implemented the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards. Details are available in Publication Ethics and Malpractice section.
In the case of rejection of the article all the submitted documents in electronic version will be deleted from the publication system, hardcopy documents will be removed from the publisher’s documentation and destroyed.

- The author, after the decision of the editorial board (the first stage of evaluation process, which usually takes about two to four weeks), receives electronic information about acceptance of the paper and its transfer to the reviewers. The standard reviewing process takes up to three mounts, but sometimes, depending on the specifics of the article, can be longer.
- After receiving the reviews of the article, the author is obliged to send the response to the reviews in an electronic form within the given deadline, with the revised text taking into account the suggestions of the reviewers. The author must indicate all the changes that were made in the final version of the paper. The final version of the article should be submitted electronically at the email address: email@example.com. The deadline for the implementation of the author’s corrections is a maximum of 1 month. When additional time for implementing all required improvements is needed, the editorial board should be informed about it via e-mail.
Specific methodological requirements for research papers
The papers submitted to Journal of Management and Business: Research and Practice should contain results of empirical research and are strictly evaluated in regard to their methodological rigor. The article must provide detailed information on the applied methods. The information on methodology must include:
- Dates of research (field work) or time period of the analysed data.
- Data sources used and the empirical research.
- Description of the data collection methods and source of the data (e.g., national/international official statistics, surveys, interviews, observations, experiments, content analysis etc.).
- In the case of presentation of survey results: structure of the population, type of the sample, its size and information about its adjustments, as well as sampling error; type of the questions (e.g., open, closed, semi-closed, etc.); authors of methodological tools.
- Description of the methods of data analysis (e.g., also in the case of basic statistical methods such as estimating correlation coefficients – their statistical dependencies must be indicated; when using factor analysis – the percentage of explained variance has to be provided).
- Brief summary on the positive and negative aspects of applied methods: testing of methodological tools, difficulties in the implementation of the initial research concept, discovery of the problems with the methodological tools, unpredictable organizational and methodical situations.
- In the main body of the article the author must directly refer to all tables and figures, for example: “Figure 1 presents the results…”; “The results of the research given in figure 1 indicate…”. When formatting tables one should indicate specific information about the provided data.
The text may contain tables, figures or equations, which should have separate numbering (equations should by typed using the Microsoft Equation 3.0 or Math type). They should be placed in the text at the appropriate paragraph (just after its reference). Please be sure that all imported scanned material is scanned at the appropriate resolution: 1200 dpi for line art, 600 dpi for grayscale and 300 dpi for colour. The list of references has to be arrange alphabetically according to the first element in the link. All references cited in the text must take a part in the list of references and vice versa. Use APA style of Referencing: http://www.citationmachine.net/apa
Reproduction of copyright material
If you wish to include any material in your manuscript in which you do not hold copyright, you must obtain written permission from the copyright owner, prior to submission. Such material may be in the form of text, data, table, illustration, photograph, line drawing, audio clip, video clip, film still, and screenshot, and any supplemental material you propose to include. This applies to direct (verbatim or facsimile) reproduction as well as “derivative reproduction” (where you have created a new figure or table which derives substantially from a copyrighted source).
You must ensure appropriate acknowledgement is given to the permission granted to you for reuse by the copyright holder in each figure or table caption. You are solely responsible for any fees which the copyright holder may charge for reuse.
The reproduction of short extracts of text, excluding poetry and song lyrics, for the purposes of criticism may be possible without formal permission on the basis that the quotation is reproduced accurately and full attribution is given.
